How can you motivate students to learn and prepare them for life in the most contemporary way possible? In Veenendaal, the architects from NOAHH | Network Oriented Architecture worked very closely with the school management on the design of the CLV. The result is a colorful three-dimensional learning landscape that places great emphasis on sustainability: Some existing elements could be reused; new inventory is deliberately made of recyclable, maintenance-free materials. The interplay of complex architecture, environmental awareness and the involvement of all those involved impressed the jury of the ARC21 Interior Award so much that it awarded the 2021 project the architecture prize of the same name. The building is also great when it comes to preventive structural fire protection: ➥ Fibershield®-E fire curtains are installed here inconspicuously and prevent the fire from spreading to other rooms in the event of a fire.
