First e-car in the STÖBICH fleet
As a responsible company, we set a good example: in our first purely electrically powered company car. The Stromer should set a signal and continue to give priority to e-mobility at STÖBICH.
With the arrival of the plug-in hybrid, the STÖBICH company fleet became greener almost a year ago. Now the first purely electrically powered company vehicle is paving the way for other e-cars of this design. STÖBICH is once again a pioneer, because the switch to electric vehicles is being slowed down in many companies by numerous concerns: range, charging times and available e-charging stations are often controversial issues. STÖBICH would like to set an example here and further expand its contribution to reducing CO2 emissions. A kind of field test starts with the new Stromer, which should at least encourage imitation within the company. Many employees now prefer the hybrid form to their company car, but there is an even more environmentally friendly way.
Not least because a Business division of STÖBICH deals specifically with fire protection solutions for e-mobility, there is basically a great deal of interest in the practical implementation of the e-mobility concept.
Peter Stahl, Commercial Director of STÖBICH Holding, says: "Even if there is still a lack of suitable vehicle models for our nationwide installation and maintenance work and thus for a consistent conversion of our fleet, we want to take the next step now." The planning is being carried out in parallel of a large-scale photovoltaic system in Goslar in order to generate our own solar power using regenerative energy. We stay tuned!
